Dr. K is amazing, my dog is elderly and on pain management now. I did not notice staff turnover, the same techs are talking to me every time. They don’t push for unnecessary procedures or blood tests. For pain management is done once a year. Always explains why they recommend different things and why others are unnecessary.
Senior Dog care very thorough, thoughtful, realistic and supportive. They do not push laundry lists of medications and tests because it could be this or just in case its that.
I have been bringing my dog Maui here for the past 3 years. Place was recently remodeled. Has comfortable parking and staff is always friendly. They are usually pretty good to get me appts even with short notice. Maui’s Vet is Dr. Martinez and she is great! She has even done his deep teeth cleaning and everything ran smoothly. I have had positive experience here at this place.
Dr. Karen and staff are the best! We’ve been trusting her with our babies since 2019 and even after moving 20 minutes away, we don’t mind the short drive for the service we get. We’ve learned the hard way trying vets that are closer to where we live. Dr. Karen is warm, everyone is super efficient, the office is beautiful and modern, and the prices don’t make you feel like you are being taken advantage of. She truly cares and it shows. We love you Dr. K!
Great place to establish care for your animals. Also has a great Salon upstairs in the building next door.
I have always had a good experience with this vet which I have been going to for almost four years now for my senior chihuahua mix. I feel like Dr. Karen has always been a professional and honest about treatments that are not necessary vs. ones that are critical and I have never felt like I have been misled or taken advantage of. Vet care is just expensive sometimes; if you are not prepared for that, maybe don't get a pet, get a second opinion before signing up for a procedure you deem too expensive, or know that they offer reduced fee services at the Humane Society. Dr. Karen is great in my opinion.
My dog, Oliver Wobbles, is extremely fearful of strangers and is quite difficult to work with! Dr. K was simply a saint with him. She bent over backwards to ensure he got the care he needed, never shied away from the challenge, and was always kind, attentive, compassionate, and knowledgable. I feel very lucky to have had her as a vet for the last 7 years :)
